Saturday, April 21, 2018 - Sunday, April 22, 2018
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The free, self-guided tour visits 25 local artists showing paintings in watercolour, acrylic, and oil, as well as ceramics, photography, fibre art, paper castings, art cards, sculpture and more.
Participants are invited to walk, bike, or drive the streets of Oak Bay at their own pace to view the art, meet the artists, and learn about artists’ inspiration and process.
Now in its 19th year, the juried tour is produced by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation, and Culture.
In addition to displays in home studios throughout Oak Bay, some participating artists will be showing their art in a shared space in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (adjacent to Oak Bay High School) during the tour, in Activity Rooms 1 & 2, open to the public from noon to 4:30pm on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, 2018.
This two-day special event is free to the public. Brochures with artist images, descriptions, and a tour map are available for download. Printed brochures will also be available at the Oak Bay Recreation Centres, Oak Bay Municipal Hall, and the Oak Bay Library as well as at local businesses and through participating artists prior to the show.
