Victoria’s Second Antique Row

Located less than ten minutes from downtown Victoria’s “Antique Row”, Oak Bay Avenue is home to more than half a dozen antique stores within walking distance of one another. Thanks to a strong British heritage there is a great selection of European pieces alongside a range of Canadiana. Special finds include furniture, silver and china as well as vintage jewellery, collectables and antiquarian books. Check out the china shops if you are searching for a hard to find pattern or browse the bookstores for rare and first edition books. Most jewellery stores also carry a selection of vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Shoppers are encouraged to park at Foul Bay Road or Monterey Avenue and walk Oak Bay Avenue’s five-block stretch. A number of interesting shops are tucked away around corners or share doorways, making them easy to miss from the road. Be sure to allow lots of time for browsing.
