Walking Tours in Oak Bay

Oak Bay is a very walkable community with wide sidewalks, a variety of landscapes and plenty of public and backyard gardens to peek into. In celebration of Oak Bay's centennial year in 2006 a number of walking tour maps were developed to help visitors and residents discover more of Oak Bay. See the bottom of this page for links to walking tour maps.

Oak Bay Recreation also offers an official Volkssport walk. Ask at reception for the Volkssport binder which contains maps and information. The route takes walkers through residential areas to a high point where the Trial Island Lighthouse and Olympic Mountains may be viewed.
